Three calling-provider profiles connected to a shared appointment calendar.

The short answer

Choose around the work you need managed. Outcend focuses on managed calling, memoryBlue describes dedicated SDR capacity, and SalesHive offers channel and caller-location choices. Belkins may already offer the scope you need.

Outcend, memoryBlue and SalesHive are three Belkins alternatives to consider when you’re choosing who should run your outbound prospecting. Their offers highlight different delivery choices: Outcend’s managed calling programme, memoryBlue’s dedicated SDR capacity, and SalesHive’s channel and caller-location options.

Those descriptions are a starting point. Before choosing, you need to know who will build the list, make the calls, review the conversations and decide whether a meeting is worth your sales team’s time.

You may also find that Belkins already offers the scope you need. The useful comparison is between actual proposals, with the same requirements put to every provider.

This guide is written by Outcend, one of the providers included. Competitor descriptions reflect what their official pages advertised when checked on 3 November 2026; they are not independent assessments of delivery or results. The fit assessments are our editorial judgement. Sources reviewed: Belkins’ Cold Calling Services and Plans and Pricing pages; memoryBlue’s Outsourced SDR Services page; and SalesHive’s Pricing and Cold Calling pages.

Belkins alternatives at a glance

Belkins is the reference provider below. Use the table to identify which delivery choices you want to discuss.

Provider

Reason to consider it

Clarify before choosing

Belkins (reference)

Advertises stand-alone calling and broader outreach options.

Which calling scope, delivery team and package are in your proposal?

Outcend

A managed calling workflow covering targeting, scripts, qualification, booking and reporting. Cold-calling service.

What will each team provide, approve and handle after a meeting is booked?

memoryBlue

Describes dedicated SDRs working across phone, email and LinkedIn.

What allocation, management and handover does your engagement include?

SalesHive

Publishes phone-only and phone-plus-email plans with US-based and offshore options.

Which team location, channels and commercial terms apply to your quote?

Use the final column to start a conversation. A service page can describe the offer, but the proposal needs to make the responsibilities clear.

When staying with Belkins may make sense

Start by checking what you would actually be replacing.

Belkins’ calling service includes a stand-alone option as well as calling triggered by engagement signals. It also describes account management, call recording and reporting. Calling is therefore something to discuss within its offer, even if your first conversation focused on another channel.

Its pricing page describes retainer packages with different inclusions. The small-business option is described as being delivered through partner agencies. Ask which package and delivery entity your proposal covers.

If the scope matches your needs, establish whether the unresolved issue is the list, the message, the meeting criteria or the handover. Take specific examples into the discussion: accounts outside your ICP, missing meeting notes, or prospects who misunderstood the reason for the appointment.

These are questions to investigate with any provider. Switching becomes a more informed decision when you can explain what the next arrangement needs to change.

Good fit

Teams whose existing or proposed Belkins scope already covers the work they need.

Ask before choosing

Which package and delivery team will handle your account?

Outcend: a focused managed calling programme

Consider Outcend when you want the prospecting-to-meeting workflow managed around phone conversations.

You bring the ideal customer profile, or ICP: the companies and people you want to reach. Our scope includes targeting and list building, scripts and messaging, human cold calling, agreed qualification, meeting booking and reporting.

That preparation matters. A contact can match a database filter and still be the wrong person to call. The campaign needs a clear reason for including the account, a relevant opening and questions that help the caller establish whether there’s a reason to continue.

We agree qualification before launch and provide visibility through call recordings, prospect feedback and a reporting portal. Our outsourced SDR service explains the managed responsibilities, while our appointment-setting service covers qualification and booking.

Our onboarding period is two weeks. That covers preparation; it doesn’t establish a deadline for the first meeting.

This approach may fit a smaller B2B business whose founder or sales team can handle the next sales conversation but needs help creating it. Before choosing, discuss your target market, approval responsibilities, calling coverage and the information your sales team needs after a booking. If you require a wider managed channel mix, make that requirement explicit when comparing proposals.

Good fit

A founder or sales team that can handle the next sales conversation and needs help creating it.

Ask before choosing

What will each team provide, approve and own after a meeting is booked?

A qualified meeting leaves a trail

Targeting

Who fits the ICP, and why this account?

02

Conversation

What need, relevance and interest were established?

03

Handover

What context and next step will sales receive?

memoryBlue: dedicated SDR capacity and coordinated channels

memoryBlue describes an outsourced SDR service with reps dedicated to one client, outreach across phone, email and LinkedIn, and a management structure supporting delivery. Its published scope also includes qualification, meeting handover and a customer portal.

That makes it relevant to a buyer who wants dedicated SDR capacity and several channels coordinated within the engagement.

The evaluation should go beyond the number of people assigned. Find out who coaches the SDRs, who changes targeting when a segment underperforms, and how your account’s priorities are set.

Discuss the handover in detail. Your salespeople need to know what the prospect said, why they agreed to meet and what remains unknown. Request an example with identifying information removed so you can judge whether it would prepare your team for the conversation.

The same service page describes retainer and performance-based engagement models. Confirm the model and outcome definitions in your proposal before comparing it with another provider’s fee.

Good fit

Teams looking for dedicated SDR capacity across several coordinated channels.

Ask before choosing

What allocation, management and handover does this engagement include?

SalesHive: channel packages and caller-location choices

SalesHive’s managed plans distinguish phone-only delivery from phone-plus-email, with US-based and offshore SDR options. That gives buyers specific choices to discuss when location or channel scope is part of the requirement.

Be precise about why location matters to your campaign. You might need particular working hours, market familiarity or a specific staffing arrangement. Record the requirement itself, then confirm how the proposed team will meet it.

Commercial information also needs a scope check. SalesHive’s pricing page describes custom quotes, while its calling page displays a starting-price offer. Request the current rate for your chosen location, channels and allocation, with the included work documented.

During evaluation, use the same qualification and handover questions you send the other providers. A clear package description helps with the shortlist; the proposal still needs to explain how the work will be delivered.

Good fit

Teams comparing specific calling channels and caller-location options.

Ask before choosing

Which team location, channels and commercial terms are included in your quote?

Compare the work behind the meeting

Two proposals can both promise appointment setting while describing different jobs.

One might cover a defined amount of calling. Another might include research, several channels and a dedicated rep. A third might price around a particular meeting outcome. Comparing the monthly figures before defining the work can hide those differences.

Copy the worksheet below into your proposal notes. Mark each requirement as essential, preferred or unnecessary. For each provider, record the answer, where it is documented and the date you checked it.

Requirement

Question to put to every provider

Target accounts and contacts

Who agrees the ICP, checks the list and removes unsuitable accounts?

Channels and coverage

What outreach is included, and which prospect time zones will the team cover?

Staffing and coaching

What allocation is committed, who reviews calls, and who owns campaign changes?

Preparation

What must be supplied and approved before live outreach starts?

Meeting qualification

What evidence must be captured before a meeting can be booked?

Sales handover

What notes, objections and expectations will our salesperson receive?

Visibility and data

What activity can we inspect, and what records can we export or retain under the agreement?

Commercial scope

Which people, tools, data and charges are included, and what event is billed?

Transition

What notice, permissions and handover steps apply when the engagement changes or ends?

A useful answer names an owner and a process. For example, “we provide reporting” leaves several questions open: what is recorded, who reviews it, and what happens when the calls reveal a problem?

Meeting definitions deserve particular attention. A booking, an attended meeting and a sales-accepted opportunity measure different stages. Our guide to what makes a sales meeting qualified explains the evidence worth agreeing before outreach begins.

When reviewing a sample report, follow a prospect through the calling funnel. Can you distinguish attempted calls, relevant conversations, booked meetings and what happened after handover? That will tell you more about the reporting than a screenshot of a large activity total.

You should also name the work your own team will retain. Someone still needs to approve the target market, answer product questions and progress suitable opportunities. The in-house versus outsourced SDR comparison can help you assess those responsibilities.

A worked example: a founder-led US software business

Consider a hypothetical B2B software company whose founder handles sales. It has an agreed ICP and room to take more sales meetings, but prospecting keeps losing time to existing deals.

The founder wants a managed calling programme and useful context before each appointment. Their requirement sheet names the target accounts, prospect time zones, qualification criteria, sales owner and approval steps.

They send that same sheet to every shortlisted provider. If a proposal includes email or LinkedIn, they ask whether those channels address a stated need and how they affect scope. If dedicated SDR capacity is proposed, they ask what allocation and management it provides.

The decision then rests on how well the proposal covers the required work, its commercial terms and the evidence supplied. This example doesn’t establish a preferred provider, a meeting forecast or an expected return.

Before switching providers

A change of agency needs an operational handover. Otherwise, the next team may repeat outreach or lose context from conversations already held.

Before the transition:

  • Review the current agreement’s obligations, notice requirements and data permissions.

  • Agree which account records, contact history and suppression information can be transferred.

  • Identify prospects already in conversation, booked meetings and follow-ups that need continuity.

  • Document who will own each account during the change.

  • Agree the new qualification criteria, routing and meeting notes before outreach starts.

  • Assign someone on your sales team to give specific feedback after meetings.

Keep one working account list during the handover and make ownership visible. This checklist is a set of questions to resolve with the providers; it doesn’t assume that every agreement gives you the same access or exit rights.

Questions about Belkins alternatives

Does Belkins offer stand-alone cold calling?

Yes. Its calling page describes a stand-alone service. Confirm the calling scope in the actual proposal because package inclusions vary.

Is Outcend cheaper than Belkins?

We haven’t established an equivalent-scope price comparison. Give both providers the same requirements and compare the proposed work, included charges and terms. A lower headline fee alone doesn’t establish better value.

Do we need a dedicated SDR?

That depends on the capacity, coverage and management you need. Ask what allocation is committed and how changes are handled. Dedicated staffing is one part of the delivery model, alongside data quality, coaching, qualification and your ability to progress meetings.

What should count as a qualified appointment?

Agree the target-account fit, relevant contact, reason for the conversation and information needed for a useful next step. Record attendance and sales acceptance separately from booking so both teams can see where opportunities progress or stall.

How should we compare onboarding and launch times?

Ask each provider to separate preparation, approval, live outreach and the first booked meeting. Compare the same event and units, including what the client must supply. A preparation timeline doesn’t establish when an interested buyer will agree to meet.

Discuss the calling scope you need
